APPLICATION FEE: ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS candidates. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST, PwBD and eligible Ex-Servicemen categories were exempt under the original notice. AGE: 18–30 years as specified in the original Phase-XII notice; age was reckoned on 1 January 2024. Applicable category relaxations are governed by the original SSC notice.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Either (1) a Bachelor's degree in Science with Physics or Chemistry from a recognised university, OR (2) a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university or State Board of Technical Education; plus one year of experience in Production, Development or Quality Assurance in the relevant field from a recognised organisation/undertaking.
